I'm creating a ton of berry, fruit, and maybe a few veggie species for a speshul project. ;3 Each species shows 2-3 of its kind with one showing the insides of the berry/fruit. All of the species will come with its own description and special name.

Currently (from left to right):
Grimbleberries:
Small, greenish heartshaped berries with an odd, mustardy-lime taste and watery texture. Typically found in bunches of 3-5 berries. Grown from medium-sized wild shrubs.
Snowspurs:
A slightly curved brown berry with coarse fur. It has a tough texture and is hard to peel. The berries only appear during winter, and are one of the few berries or fruits that are available during that time. It has a dull taste, but is very nutritious. It grows on small, tough evergreen bushes with a couple berries per branch.
Nightstars:
A very unique and beautiful dark blue berry. The light blue spots pulse and glow, like a slow heartbeat. When plucked off the plant, the spots disappear. At night, it is easy to find Nightstars because of their glowing. Nightstar berries are found in the treetops, making it somewhat difficult to get to. They have a sweet, almost minty taste, and are very much enjoyed by ____.
Bloodberries:
An ominous, blood-colored berry. The stems encompass the entirety of the eerie fruit. ____ don't usually have the chance to eat it because it is only found in swamps. It is a medium-sized berry with a bad aftertaste. Some ____ believe that eating a Bloodberry will give you bad luck. Bloodberries are found on black shrubs with spindly branches and thin, sharp leaves. Picking a Bloodberry is likely to get you a thorn or two, so most don't bother.
Shadowberries:
An oddly shaped, somewhat large berry. Shadowberries are grown from two stems from both ends. As it grows, it turns inward as it gets heavier. Despite its somewhat disturbing appearance, it is actually very soft and sweet. For this, Shadowberries are highly prized and valued by ____. They are typically found on trees with wispy and umbrella-like leaves.
Loveberries:
Small, pinkish-red berries with a sweet taste. Often, ____ will give their mates or nestlings these berries as gifts. Some ____ will carefully skin the berry and use the light pink juice as coloring for various items. When the juice is dried, it turns the same color as the skin of the berry. They are somewhat uncommon and are found in bunches of three on small shrubs.
Eggberries:
Named for their egg-shaped look, Eggberries are the largest species of berry, often mistaken for fruit. They have a tangy, somewhat sour flavor. Eggberries typically grow in most of the mid-forest trees, and because of their bright yellow coloration, are easily found.
