No, scratch that. Kidney stones are VERY painful.
so here is the story:
My mom was sore for like... months. One morning she woke up with such a pain that my father took my mom to the hospital. Turns out she has kidney stones. So, they go and do a procedure to remove them. Think it wouldn't be bad after they took them out? Nope. Turns out one of larger kidney stones (there were tons. In fact, so many that the doctor said said that the inside of my moms kidney looked like chopped meat, because the stones kept cutting up her kidney) had blocked the passage out of my moms kidney. So, it got infected. To make matters worse, the doctors had to do surgery again to stop the infection from spreading. the only problem was that they had to do the surgery while my mom was awake. (Its actually pretty funny; my mom fell asleep as soon as the surgery started). By then the infection wasn't bad. And because my mom had developed water in the lungs, my mom got her own private room!
Now that my mom is almost better (she is pretty wiped out), guess what happens? My 18 year old sister developed a kidney stone!!!
