This is what happens when my rocket, Nuclear Fallout, roars into the sky on a skid mark motor.
Nuclear Fallout is a LED night rocket that I spent over a year planning and building from scratch. This rocket has effectively changed the way people will look at night rocketry. It is the first ever level two dedicated high power night rocket on the planet.
Nuclear Fallout made its debut launch at Midwest Power eleven's night launch, stunning the crowd and commanding the attention of everyone present.
I couldn't have asked for better launching conditions, and I couldn't have asked for a more successful flight. And I want to say a huge thanks to all the people who made it possible. I know I couldn't have done it without my dad and my glowmies.
As mentioned above, this rocket was over a year in the making, and it started as nothing more than a spark of an idea. And now, a year later at Midwest Power, it finally had its chance to do what it was made for.
There is no greater feeling than seeing something you put so much time and effort into making succeed and forever change the way people will look at something.
So to those of you who have an idea to make or change something, don't be afraid to try it. You might just make something no one has ever even thought of before.
