Now, I don't want to sound rude to your friend, but you should really find a better friend than them. That's kind of like bullying if they are putting you down to the point where you want to quit something you enjoy doing. If you love drawing, continue. There should never be a person who stops you from doing what you love. Tell them to back off. I had a friend who did the same thing, so I grabbed my sketchbook and drew right in front of her so she could see and complain. I told her that I'm drawing my way and improving my way.

I've also checked your gallery, and believe me. You are an amazing artist. Don't let people make you think otherwise. ^-^
