I respect your oppion as well. Most of my friends don't really care about it but I have a couple of directioner friends.

Most of my directioner friends laugh at my hate jokes. I try not to say anything overly harsh about them when their around.

Well it's sad that some people don't respect others. I used to have a "friend" who makes fun of my last name. Since I am Chinese, my last name is Cao, pronounced Tsao, not cow. And she just calls me cow each times she sees me. That makes me really sad.

Same thing with fandoms. People flame fandoms and somepeople don't care. It's really, how that person is like. Their inner good, man.

I have to say...everyone in my school loooves One Direction. But honestly, I think they're just another boy band. I don't care for them or their songs, in fact, I don't even know their names. Doesn't mean I hate them, I just don't mind.

I agree, Some girls at my school are to obsessed over them. They're nothing more special or original to me. Just a younger version of The Wanted if you ask me.

So your friends have found something in common that they can obsess over together. What's the problem in that? They've found something they really enjoy, something they can put their energy into. I don't see a problem with that.

I'm going to agree with Starface. They wouldn't begin "cussing" at you just because you said,"Nah, I don't like them that much."
You either have either stated your opinion the wrong way, or you are exaggerating.

I'm not a huge fan myself, of any pop music, really. I'll listen to the radio every now and then, but I tend to stick to Progressive House and Classical music. I'm such a weirdo ^w^.

This is my opinion of one direction, I like the songs! NOT THE PEOPLE! There are girls who are like crazy, I'm just saying the songs are nice but I'm not like "OH I LUV HARRY!" I mean, I'm not cookoo. The songs are the only thing I like.
