Alysia sashayed down the street, finding her next target. That one looked like a good one. No, that house only gave out toothbrushes. Ahah! She spotted an enticing house further down the block, decorated with lots of yellow and orange strings of lights and a set of hand-carved pumpkins in the front yard. The length of the driveway was all dirt, but was lined with shimmering "floating" candies. Alysia tried to swipe at one, but her paw passed right through it. "Holograms..." she muttered under her breath, disappointed.

She made her way up to the front door, and raised her paw to use the large, ancient looking and rust encrusted lion door knocker. Then she noticed a small and convenient new door bell installed on the side of the door. Oh well, so much for tradition, right? She rang the bell and waited with her bag in her mouth. She was about to turn around and walk away when the knight pup scarecrow on the bench by the door moved it's arm and grabbed her arm in its bony fingers. She screeched and tried to back away, frantically. Then the scarecrow removed its mask and asked, "Want some milk and cookies?"
