After a few minutes He heard a rustle in the tree above him. Looking up, There she was.

That is my cat, Krissy, Based off my real cat, And I will be getting 2 pet rats soon, If you could have one rat like crawling out of the box and another like climbing on her or something that'd be great! ^_^

Nutmeg has been preparing for Halloween for weeks now. Every hour she has put into her babysitting jobs in order to save up for pumpkins, cloth, decorations, and party supplies was treacherous. She would have much rather been at home participating in festivites. Once she had saved enough spending money, it was time to prepare herself. Hours of slaving over a knife turned into prefectly carved pumpkins. A large thought prcess went into her costume, as usual.

"Will it match my eyes? How loose should it be here? How much fabric will I need? Yellow flowers or white flowers? Vines or leaves? Crimson or maroon?"

Nutmeg had just finished putting the last yellow stich into her embroidered flowers when a knock came to her door. Her friends had arrived! Nutmeg slipped into her dress, put on her bracelets and bands, put the finishing touches on her makeup and hair, and finally, tied her scarf, choker, and dress tightly behind her. One last admiring glance in the mirror, and she was ready to go!

Walking outside of her front door, Nutmeg and her friends selected their first target.

"Lets begin with this house, they look really festive! I'll bet that their goodies are as good as their decorations!"

They made their way through the thick fog up to the front door. When they emerged, they could see skeletons in the windows, pumpins on the porch, and a zombie head pinned to the door. Rocking back and forth on her heels, Nutmeg felt a mixture of excitement and fear as she gently knocked on the door, careful not to hit the beheaded zombie.

The heavy door creaked as it was slowly opened. Fog spilled out into their faces as they they each muttered:

"...Trick or treat?"

The night was a cauldron of darkness and there was an unearthly wind weaving between the throngs of yapping pups. It was the 31st October and it was certainly a brilliant night for trick or treating, or so I thought. I remember that night as clearly as I remember the death of my mother just one year ago. I always loved Halloween you see, but my brother was the complete opposite and he hated it! I just didn’t listen though, now I know I should’ve listened. For if I had, Ricky wouldn’t be dead. This is the story of what happened to me and my brother on that cold, cold night.

I had just been to Miss Gregory’s kennel and got an absolute tonne of treats! I was pretty excited and I had totally forgotten about Ricky because I was too busy counting the monstrous stash I had collected. That’s when I heard it, a shrill cry unlike any of the others coming from the excited crowds surrounding me. I knew it had come from the Dancy Forest from just round the corner. The funny thing was, no one else had seemed to hear it. But I remember thinking that it must have just been one the excited puppies.
That’s when I saw it. A shadow, roughly the size of a 16 year old girl but with angry, glowing red eyes. It was glaring from the branches of a nearby oak tree. Then I remembered my brother and I asked the shadow (who I assumed was a girl in a costume) if she had seen a blonde, 11 month old pup in a zombie raver costume pass this way. All she did was glare straight back at me and then I noticed a puppy lying in a heap on the floor.

The puppy was wearing a zombie raver costume and I immediately knew it was him. At first my brain wouldn’t take in the fact that there was a pool of blood surrounding him and I thought it must just be some sick trick he was playing. Then she spoke.

“I’m sorry but I can’t help it, its second nature for me” she stuttered in a scared voice.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about!” I yelled in an agitated way.
But as I tried to coax my brother from the floor I suddenly noticed his deathly pale skin and half open eyes.

“What? Wh-whats going on?” I cried.

I had finally noticed his numerous bites and scratches. Too realistic for any sort of makeup no matter how great the artist. The dog started towards me and I realised it wasn’t any sort of dog but a monster. Its eyes were blood red, throth was bubbling out of twisted mouth and its hair was a thin, lanky mop hanging off its greasy scalp.

“As I said, just second nature” It whispered as it drew closer and closer, its breath heating the back of my turned head and I seemed to know about the impending doom looming upon my soul. I ran for my life, feeling the sticky breath of the monster on the back of my now clammy neck. As quick as I could, I scrambled onto the porch of a grand house and pounded on the door yelling “trick or treat”, hoping anybody would open and let me in!

This is Cyber. She is a bit of a loner and doesn't have many friends. Because of this on Halloween she stays indoors to continue working on her books. She keeps her windows covered and only uses candles so the others don't bother her and make fun of her.

A small group of four wandered through the night. One was a strange-colored dog whose costume was of a fluffy plant demon, but could be mistaken for a poorly made costume by her owner. Another was a tiny hippo dressed as Watson but he lost his hat at one of the houses they tricked or treated at. The bat seemed to be wearing nothing since bats already have their own Halloween costumes, so instead he brought a lantern so they could see where they were going. And the last member in their group of traveling adventurers was a tea cup. Which some how knew how to breathe and liked to eat brownies.

"Parsley thinks Riddle has lots of candy!" Parsley said cheerfully breaking my great narrative-intro-paragraph-thing. Riddle made a small cheeky grin as she heard Cookies grunt sounding displeased. "It's because most people can't appreciate my amazing costume!" Cookies muttered as he fluttered behind them more making the fog around them seem to grow darker, "Cookies don't stray behind!" Riddles snapped and he grumbled something about 'bossy dogs' under his breath as he flew closer to them. Riddles squinted her eyes trying to find the next house or street. They had been walking on the forest trail for the longest time and it seemed the group was getting no where. "Are you sure we're heading the right direction?" Bob asks as a frown spreads on his face causing his mustache to droop, he then carefully adjusted it. "I hope so," Riddle said softly and sniffed the air trying to find something familiar but all she got in her efforts was the damp smell of a fog.

"Maybe I should lead the way," Cookies quipped as he started to fly forward, "No, I got it Cookies," Riddle said quickly before he could even fly past her head. "Parsley is scared," Parsley said with a small whimper sounding more like a frightened puppy than a tea cup. Riddle sighed and started to go at a more faster and determined pace. "Hey! I see some lights ahead!" Bob called out and a small smile passed over his face as he raced towards it. "Wait up Bob!" Riddle called out as she too started to run after the lights. "Stop running! You know I can't fly that fast!" Cookies yelled as he started to follow after them. "Weeeee! Parsley likes ride!"

The four then stopped at the edge of the forest and looked out at the neighborhood they had stumbled into. "I heard their candy is two times larger than the ones we get at the other neighborhood!" Bob exclaims as he licks his lips thinking about the candy.
"I told you we'd get here Cookies!"
"Riddle you said 'I HOPE we get here."
"Close enough."
She says with a small snort as she starts to cross the street to the houses. Bob already could smell the candy even though they were only in the middle of the street, "Giant milk balls, Gummybears, and skittlesssss...." he said with his voice trailing off thinking about them. "I say we start at this house and then head to the left and then eventually cross the street and head back to the forest," Riddle says and then walks up to the house without waiting for an answer. They all then say in unsion,
"Trick or Treat!"
