This morning my mother went to go grab some coffee at the nearby Starbucks, and when she went to pay for her order the barista told her that the person ahead of her had already payed. Apparently, before my mother got there, someone randomly payed for the next person's order. Moved by the gesture, that person did the same for the person behind them. Eventually, it had started a total chain reaction of everyone paying for the order of the person behind them. My mother was the 15th person that was a part of the chain, and played her part in making it continue.
Since these drawings are representation of how an act of kindness in a cruel world was like a splash of color in a grey world, I felt moved to draw this.
