He wasn't dressed as batman,he was just cloaked though. X3

Agreed.People can be mosterous and terrible.

And it was AT the movie, not the buying tickets part.

Like...While it was starting. He had a gas mask on.

It's very upsetting, I've been watching the news all morning over here, im live in the UK, and I just think its ridiculous what he did. I feel so sorry for the people affected by it, it's shocking that something that dreadful can happen at something as innocent as a cinema. What scared me most is the fact he dressed up and looked like one of the characters out of the movie so the audience began to believe it was a stunt. He then released the gas canister, half an hour into the movie i beleive, and all hell broke loose.
What is also worrying is the fact that the Columbine high school is nearby and of course that was a terrible tradegy and again, I'm guessing, the us government is going to look into the gun laws once more as people are getting hold of them way too easily.

What I also figured out is the fact he was very calm and collected, the gunman, when he was caught by police and questioned which is quite like the case of the Norway shootings with Andhers Breivik but not as extreme. It's very strange how possible happenings can be linked with other disasters such as the Columbine high school shootings or the Norway massacre.

As I said before my heart goes out to all affected by his acts and that the explosives in his house are disposed of safely.

Edit :
Facts:
He was wearing a bullet proof vest, riot helmet and gas mask.
He was armed with a two pistols, shotgun, rifle and a knife and a gas canister
He was a 24year old former neuroscience student
He shot 71 people, at least 12 are deceased
He was from California, hence why the FBI where involved as they thought he had driven from a different state
The youngest casualty was 4months old but has been released from hospital, the youngest injured is a six year old
His apartment is booby trapped and so the block and surrounding area has been evacuated as they are highly sophisticated explosives
The cinema car park was also evacuated due to fears that a car or the cinema housed explosives

The worst part is-- I think I dreamed of him the other night >.< I woke up this morning and my mum was describing him and I was like "wth... wtfwtfwtf?? I saw that guy!"<<(In a dream of course lol)

I think people like that deserve to spend the rest of their sad, hollow lives in a loony bin or in solitary confinement.

That's just crazy.
