Yesterday one of my 2 week old baby gerbils got dropped on the floor. My friend dropped her by acident. She was so sorry. I hope that she dosen't play chicken smoothie,because if she sees this she will be so upset... . One of her lungs got crushed or something. I thought she was having a concusion, but then she began gasping for breath. She didn't make it. She souffacated. I am refering to her as Angel. I didn't want my freind to be upset so neither of us cried untill we went our seperate ways. The little baby's sister was looking for her and her mama paniced all night. This litter his one baby stillborn and another sick. The two healty babys were now one. The mama also lost all of her babies from the litter before. I had to seperate them so the daddy wouldn't mate them. She is settled down now, but still very jumpy. It seems Angel should still be running around the cage. She didn't even have her eyes open yet.

This probably isn't intermediate worthy. It looked better in my head. If it needs to be moved, please do so

Aww...I have gerbils and I would be so upset if one died. *hugs* poor baby gerbil...it was just a baby...

This probably should be in beginners, but I think the real problem is your gerbil. I'm really sorry, and I bet your friend is too. I've had a pet die before. He was my old kitty, Frank. But Frank was old and Angel was very young. But she is not in pain anymore, so you should be happy.
