Green gem on silk

Postby Wolf's Spirit » Fri Jun 15, 2012 9:01 am

Ok, so this is some kind of a shiny, green gem sitting on a piece of red silk, probably in some queen's palace or something. No clue how I got the idea. Andy comments? Ideas on how to make it look better? please tell me!

I love how you gave it a 'texture':)

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Don't you dare look out your window, darling
Everything's on fire
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Hold onto this lullaby
Even when the music's gone

This is really good!
I'm actually quite fond of how it is, I don't really have any crit. I love the texture on the fabric and the fact that you included the reflected light after the core shadow! So many people forget to add that. [/art talk]
Anyway, fantastic job!

Oh thanks you guys <3 I'm looking to make it more realistic but am at a loss as to how. Oh well, I'm still proud of it. Any more comments?
