When I erase, the checkerboard pattern shows up. When I post a picture, will that show up as white?

Yup. Checkboard pattern is used to show transparency in programs, if you want the transparency to show, change "format=auto" (/format=jpg) to "png" in the image url. :]

Do you know what is better to draw in oekaki? the mouse or a pad?

I may have missed something but, when I use eraser, the eraser looks like a faded checkerboard.
I can't figure out how to fix it, can you help?

It's because it turns transparent, programs show transparency with checkerboard pattern. It will show up as white when you post it, though. If you need the transparency to show, there's a trick for that too, but on the oekaki boards transparent backgrounds are shown as white instead.
But if you don't take adcvantage of transparency in your drawings, it's probably better to use just white or whatever background color you have, in that case. ^^;

    You can pick any random drawing {in editable oekaki} and colour it in. Before you start, you scroll down below, and it should say something like "SAVED DRAWING". There will be a selection of drawing of which you have saved. Click on one of them, and it should take you to that page. Then you can colour it. [:

    Not quite sure if that's right, but it works when I try it. (':

Question- When I open my Oekaki, it says I need Java, but it's already installed on my computer. Is my computer just stupid, or...?
