Strange Mixes of Sunset

Postby *A Sparrow's Song* » Fri Nov 26, 2010 6:01 am

My art teacher taught me about how a sunset should look like. The dark part is the mountains which are called a siliuette or something. She taught me what's on top of the sunset, which is the cold colors like blue and purple, and which colors go on the bottom, which is the hot colors like red, orange and yellow. She also taught me that when artists paint or color in the colors of sunsets, the colors shouldn't look like stripes and that I should blend it. So that's where my blending comes from.

I tried my best to make it look realistic though. I really dont know if my art teacher's techniques work on the computor so I want to know what you think about it. And yes I know there is no sun because I used my art teacher's "fading sun" technique.

PLEASE COMMENT!!!!
