chippewa lake amusement park was a family amusement park that operated from 1878-1978, my grandparents went there all the time as a kid. it became abandoned in 1978 because of not too many people coming anymore, it is no longer in existence, which is sad, all that history, gone, ohio's final abandoned/historical amusement park... i never got the chance to experience it. but its more like 1878-2015. why do they have to tear down the most amazing places, i mean, its history, they should leave the old places alone. have you guys had to see a cool old place get torn down for no reason? i have at least 6 places. who knows, Cedar Point might be next...
