I was thinking maybe this?(I'm open to suggestions, too):

Forest surrounding the city

Village larger, think of it more as a large medieval city

Forest is huge, with clearings here and there

I think forest around the city is far to concealing and way to much forest There is only so much we can fit on the drawing to so im just trying to show there is distance between everything and its not all just clumped together :3

And the forest continues on off the page, just was not enough room
