Snow's Love

Snow falls softly down,
a pure white landscape forms.
looking at the horizon,
rays of light signaling dawn.

glancing at you next to me,
smiling at the grin you gave.
leaning into you touch,
your arms makes me feel safe.

shivering as a draft passed,
wincing at the cold bite.
your warm hands held mine,
and the chill in me took flight.

looking at the snow falling,
the days beauty unfolds.
our journey together awaits,
with tales yet untold.
