HEY I HAVE A QUESTION

soooo,,,, i want to make things for peoples sigs but im not using my own gifs/pixels but the website im using to get them dosent give credits it just links you to "way back machine" but im not selling these they will be ftu ik where to post them i just dont know if it would be against the rules lol would i link it to the website i got them from??? or would i link the internet archive??? can i even do that???? please tell me lol

Honestly I have no clue I feel like this is better asked in the question forums than here :0 but generally lil gifs like that aren’t credited which is sad ;.; usually they don’t need to be credited but I wouldn’t know if that’s the case here

i think you'd need real credit of some sort since that site just reposts the gifs (if i understand correctly)

would i give credit to the website it leads me to? (its a web archive just found that out lol) ive read the rules but i dont know where these things would come from because these websites are from the 2000's im very confused idk if anyone else has had this question

since this is an archive it might be difficult to get in contact w the original artist and its hard to know if this website even got permission to repost in the first place. that's where i'm kinda stumped? ur better off asking an oekaki mod directly (or question board
