if it seems like I draw Chryses more than my other characters that because I do and I dont know how to say this without it sounding weird but when I think about him getting hurt/dying I feel emotions and like have you ever tried to draw with tears in your eyes? it doesnt work. I've been trying to draw this specific piece for such a long time but I had to completely shut down every emotion while drawing this because heck my boi is dead and lilly left some flowers and it just makes me so sad??? he's not even real???? help?????
anyways, list of flowers/leaves used and their meanings starting with the bouquet, representing lillys feelings:
Arborvitae - unchanging friendship
Pink carnation - I'll never forget you
camomile - patience
and the scattered flowers/leaves, representing Chryses as a person:
Amaryllis - pride
Bay leaf - glory
Oak leaf - strength
Valerian - readiness

and in case anyone finds it interesting at all, Lilly died before Chryses but she was chosen to become a god so when he died she secretly left flowers even though thats against the rules and she got in trouble. of course Lilly didnt care that she got in trouble, she cares too much about Chryses to even consider not leaving flowers so getting yelled at by Rago for a while was a small price to pay.
