i draw anthros constantly but its simply because i enjoy how they are styled i also add animal characteristics to humans. honestly i think its because of our fascination with things other then ourselves, always wanting to be like something we are not. lol

My main character is an animal wearing clothing, and because of that people always assume I'm a furry.
The thing is, it isn't even an anthropomorphic animal either, just an animal in clothing that can talk.
I would say it's my fursona for lack of better word, but don't consider myself a furry personally, and really don't know what to refer to it as otherwise, as it was intended as a representation of myself :')
lmao i get that too, since my sona technically isn't an anthro animal its not considered a furry or anthropomorphic animal. not to mention when i was in public school my friends used to tease me about being a furry for drawing animals all the time "animals with clothes and accessories"
i just call my Sona's well, sonas. at first i called them fursonas but that led to more confusion on whether i was a furry or not so i just started calling them sonas, i think its short for fursona or persona but im not sure.
