I really like the new store pets and I thought it'd be fun to draw them as people (though I couldn't resist adding their ears and tails). Also yes I made them both precious boys cause why not. I actually really like how this turned out.

the beautiful level of detail you're working with brings a sort of storybook illustrative intricacy to this that really works well I feel! it's incredibly charming and reminds me of some of the golden age of illustration artists ( http://www.artcyclopedia.com/history/golden-age.html ). keep up those lush details and intricacies - they serve you very well!
