partially coloring it manually (i think i did it red or pink and then added some darker blues n stuff in some sections) but largely just playing around with different effects and overlay layer types :]! things like add/dodge/burn can change the colors a lot if you mess with em!
i also sometimes duplicate the whole (flattened) image three times and then use a dodge or overlay or smth to make each copy yellowish, reddish or pinkish, and blueish ir cyanish, then set all 3 colored duplicates to overlay or something and lower their opacities
and then move them around a little?
it makes a fun chromatic aberration effect... i didn't explain it very well but basically just mess around w stuff and you'll figure out methods that work for you! :]
i also like to do things like duplicate the lineart layer, blur the copy, and either 1) simply lower its opacity, 2) set it to multiply or overlay or smth, or 3) color it, idk, yellow or pink or something, and then set it to multiply or overlay!
generating color static on a layer on top and setting it to overlay or dodge or whatever and lowering its opacity is another fun way to add some color and texture!
