My first thought: Lawl, Blockbuster still exists somewhere?
My second thought: It's a real shame that you only got to see part of the movie. D=> It's really wonderful, as with all of Ghibli's and Miyazaki's work. I would highly recommend looking for more when you get the chance if you haven't already. :3
And since it hasn't been mentioned here, I will also suggest that you find the book and read it.

It's by Dianna Wynn Jones, who is a wonderful young-adult fantasy writer that died earlier this year. The book and the movie follow similar plots until about the mid-way point, where things become vastly different and, to be honest, I'm not sure which version I prefer as they are both wonderful. x3
Lastly, I would like to tell you that I really like how this came out. :3 The castle turned out very well in my opinion, and I'm not seeing how it's blurry. There's a lot of detail there and I can see most of it. ^^
As for Turnip Head, very nice.

I especially love the way you did his suit and the highlighting and shading on the folds. It looks like a lot of work went into that.
And I could learn a thing or two on how to draw mountains from you. x3
I guess this is just a roundabout way of saying "wonderful fan art of one of my favorite stories."
