Should I be Posting in Intermediate?

Postby TooRareToDie » Sun Aug 07, 2011 7:13 am

Or should I go back to Beginners?

This is my sona Fane. I recently changed his design slightly after I changed my hair :D . So sorry I don't have a background. It all got really strange and I couldn't add the background without covering most of the drawing.

Please tell me whether or not you think I'm ready for Intermediate. Thank you.

You're actually pretty good! The eyes are especially pretty ^^
With a little touching up, I'm sure you'll be ready for intermediate.
Some suggestions:
- When you make you make your lines, try to turn the smoothing on to about 25%. This should help make your lines look smooth and flowing. It's located on the same box you adjust your tool sizes with at the very bottom.
- When adding a background last, you can move the layer. Just click on it and drag it to the bottom. Although typically, I'll leave the white layer that is already there for the background and add layers over it.
Hope this helps~

Thanks :D . I just tried the smoothing. It does look a lot better! And that's usually what I do to add a background, but this time it just went all confusing and I couldn't add anything below a certain layer.

I like it. I think you should keep it on intermediate.
Amazing art shop here! Extremely good art by a very polite person.
My muse? It's doing backflips. Pm me if you want me to join an rp or if you wanna do a 1 x 1.

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the Queen
The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried
Don’t let them in, don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always had to be
Conceal, don’t feel
Don’t let them know
Well, now they know

~Demi Lavato Let It Go
One, two, three and four
The devil's knocking at your door
Caught in the eye of a dead man's lie
Show your life with your head held high
Now you're on your knees
With your head held low
the big man tells you where to go
Tell him it's good
Tell him okay
Don't do a damn thing they say
