yeahhh so basically I got this idea for a new original story/universe from a weird dream I had and now I've already got 6-7 more designs planned. this is the main character, not quite settled on a name yet but I've been calling him Ash in my head. he went missing a few years prior to the beginning of the story and was thought to be dead, but just recently woke up with none of his memories.
i've got so much worldbuilding to do lol but so far I've been picturing an urban fantasy sort of setting, leaning more towards the fantast aspect though. I know he and his friends have different magical abilities and are part of a group but what the purpose of said group is... haven't figured that out yet ;-; they have a teacher who taught them magic and how to fight so I'm imagining that magic is common enough for there to be schools, or even a system in which mages will take in younger kids as apprentices, or both. i'm still struggling with the "why" though-- if there is a bigger conflict which mages are needed to fight, or if magic is so commonly used in workplaces and such that it's basically required to be taught... gahhh idk yet lol
