- katsuyora- a prodigial son of a head branch of exorcists who got exiled and disowned when he was found covering up his sibling's lack of ability. now a leader of a gang of his own bisharp n pawniard, before he ventures with the party after they took down the team star fighting base and giving him a reason to finally leave his home region and venture far beyond, hoping to take down whatever he can in an ability to hone his strength. as an exorcist, he has some experience with ghosts, and while he does travel with a ceruledge and skeledirge, finds beaufort eerie and unnatural because of how he died and how he came back, and doesnt like to work with him.
beaufort- a vengeful spirit of a former researcher on glaseado mountain whos life was taken by a jealous senior for his discoveries far exceeding his age. he now uses his immortality and anger drive to keep discovering things upon glaseado and all of paldea, taking hard interest in the cursed stakes. if he hadnt died hed probably take over a teaching position at the academy. he joined the party after they found him on the path leading up the mountain, and stayed with the promise theyd help him find peace, vengeance sated or not. hes tired of katsuyora beating around the bush and would like to settle things between them so he can finally stop feeling his eyes bore into the back of him
