I was also there a few months back - my character was the only survivor, and had abandonment issues to begin with & she. Didn’t take it well
Legit the only reason she’s alive is bc an eldritch being said her “story wasn’t over yet”. She tried bringing them back from the dead but their souls are somewhere else. She’s currently on a villain arc to avenge those she lost, legit gaining enough power to fight the leader of the deific pantheon in the world :)
