Ok so the way I normally type makes me seem kinda wack I guess?? Annoying even??
Like I use a lot of typing quirks/text talk/no capitals or punctuation/don't change spelling mistakes, etc.
But I promise I am a fully literate person & not just an idiot trying to troll people!!

I am a language major & my career in the near future (yikes!) will *revolve* around language :')
(English as a second language teacher + Spanish teacher, double whammy ahaha)
So I have been specifically studying & focusing on a number of languages for nearly 10 years now :-)
It is actually the only academic area that I am passionate, confident, & have always been naturally good at
(In this house we do not talk about anything relating to m*th or sc*ence </3)

I normally type super weird because it is easier for me, and honestly mainly just because it's way more fun!
It feels closer to how I think or how I would actually sound if I was talking in person if that makes sense??
But I can indeed type like a normal, literate person! (Like I am doing in this post hehe)
Anyways I'm just making this post to say that if you are communicating with me & would prefer if I type like THIS
Then I would be more than happy to! Just let me know <3
Because I know they way I type normally can be a little hard/annoying to read :-)

omg no youre not annoying at all!! in fact i think you seem approachable the way you talk normally, but i think no matter how you talk youre approachable lol im not sure what im trying to say BUT good for you omg!! that sounds really impressive and i'm happy for you. it's really nice to see friends move onto professions and things theyre confident in. good luck to you!!

i like to play dumb a lot just because it makes my friends laugh and that's my favorite thing in the world but i feel you, im worried im passing off that kind of energy for real and you put my feelings into words... just keep doing what youre doing youre the coolest

THAT'S SO INTERESTING THO... dude i love linguistics and i spent a year learning spanish it was SO much fun. i wanna pick up more languages in the future (likely german or italian) but i already have 4 under my belt and it's just a good time all around :]c i was SO lucky to be raised bilingual. indonesian my beloved <3

in any case!! when it comes to the english language i keep thinking of this one tiktok where this chick is like "if you see me messing up in english, it's not a mistake, it's intentional. i'm ~decolonizing~" like girl mood i will butcher this language from end to end like a thanksgiving turkey

basically what im saying is typing quirks are fun and i love how much of someone's personality can manifest in how they write!! but i totally get that it can be difficult for some people and i appreciate ur willingness to accommodate if that's the case haha
