IN ORDER FROM THE OLDEST i have........... ramen. mochi. gimbap. onigiri. and kiki
gimbap is the only one who isn't named after a japanese food... but korean food also good
and kiki is short for kikkoman! it's a japanese food company and we love the Sauce they sell.
so technically her name still fits the theme. :3c

oh, i was mostly thinking along the lines of the tekken and yakuza series! i don't mind games with battle systems, but i strongly prefer turn-based systems because i'm slow at reacting, haha. ni no kuni sort of falls into a nice middle ground where some of the battling is in real time, but the ability to "pause" the combat to switch between familiars or cast spells helps me pull through without much of an issue :p
