My child c':
I got inspired by kageyenova and decided to do a portrait of one of my D&D characters. It started as going to be something relatively simple, but then this happened XD
Ryynari is one of my first D&D characters that I've really gotten into, and the first character I've played for a long period of time - over three years running!
She's is a wood elf ranger-druid multiclass with a complex backstory. I'm not necessarily going to get into that here; I'll probably do some more artwork later showing clips of her story.
Our campaign was in a detailed homebrew setting, and ended up going beyond level 20 - we became deities eventually, which was very helpful when fighting a literal god-emperor who could otherwise turn our minds to mush or infect us with a spellplague of his own creation. I'll probably show her deific form here also at some point c:
After the campaign series ended (our DM graduated T-T, it was an EPIC last run though) Ryynari actually went from being a deity to a creator, and is technically the creator deity of the D&D universe I DM in. She actually split herself into many different aspects, starting with the darker nature she was always combating. I'll have to draw them all here at some point lol
