I'm not an expert either, but this doesn't look like a fail at all.
Maybe you should find another way of drawing the nose in the frontal view, because this line looks a bit off, but other than that, I love these sketches. Especially the second one. ^^

But would you mind helping me with something I was wondering about for a long time? Which tool do you use for the lines? I mean, how do you make them that smooth?

if you go to the pen and look at the options at the bottom it says "smoothing"

For sketches I set this at 20% ish as it slightly smoothes but doesn't make it perfect (I'm fussy like that)
Then when I pen it I use between 40-50% smoothness
And if theres a really awkward curve I'll set it at around 60-80%

Also a tablet helps as I'm smoother with a pen anyway.

No no, this was a great help, actually ^^ I always figured it would have something to do with the "smoothing" thing, but I never really understood it. Now I do. ^^
