when someone threatens your GF so you turn into an unstoppable murder machine using the power of the moon and your shadow arms, haha just girl things
so I've been thinking alot about Abhayas arms lately to figure them out and worldbuild a little y'know? their surface is below freezing temperatures constantly but there is a thin inner layer that is body temperature for her human arms because this shadow thing is not her actual arms. they are not solid either, when trying to go through the shadow part anything solid will be like pushing a balloon under water but when liquid is put in it gives a bit of an oil in water effect of the liquid floating around in bubbles and puddles eventually floating to the surface. she is able to "turn off" the shadow limbs completely but it takes a large ammount of energy so the arms stay on most of the time, if she starts to loose control of her emotions the shadow limbs will spread and if a feeling completely takes over she basicly goes unconscious and the "monster" takes over, destroying everything in its path until she is able to regain control.
