[The wild one]

"DAD!" I screamed at the top of my voice, my arms outstretched. "Please! Don't leave me!" Tears sprung up in my eyes and I tried to lunge away from the Marines holding me back. Their grip was far too strong, even for me. My brother, Corbin, wasn't having any more luck. But unlike me, he was shouting for our mother. Both SPARTAN-IIIs were shouting our names, but they we're allowed to take us with them.
"Get the kids on the Pelican now! We need to get them out of here!" one of the Marines hollered from the very air-craft we were being herded on. I struggled in earnest to get away. I refused to let them take me from my home. I would rather die on Reach than be taken from it.
I managed to brake away from the Marines and I sprinted to my parents.
"Dad! Please! I don't want to go! Please, let me go with you!" I cried, the tears brimming over. My father turned away from the Falcon he was about to board to look at me. He reached up and took his helmet off so that I could see his face.
"Go with the Marines, Nikki," he said, his Commander tone coming through. "I need you to be safe." He got down to my level. I was still quite short compared to him, despite my being tall for my age of thirteen.
He pulled me into his arms.
"You are one of the few second generation Spartans left. You cannot be killed. You and Corbin will be safer on Earth," he said, his voice suddenly gentle. A felt a sob rising in my throat. My father pulled away and kissed my forehead.
"For once, do what's best for you and your brother and hide," he murmured. I nodded, then let the Marines take me onto the Pelican. Corbin also gave up and followed.
The hatch closed slowly, and I watched Kat and Carter disappear. If I only I knew that this would be the last time I would ever see them.

My Spartan character, Nikki. She and her twin brother Corbin are the children of Noble Team members, Kat and Carter. They were taken off of planet Reach when it was attacked by a group of alien species called the Covenant. When they got on Earth, their convoy was attacked by the same aliens. Nikki and Corbin escaped, but Nikki was scratched deeply over her left eye and lost her sight in that eye.

Halo, Reach, the Covenant, and the Spartans all belong to Bungie.
Corbin and Nikki belong to me.

Thanks. It's one of my best human drawings that I've done on the computer. And that's just because I used my tablet for it(I can't seem to draw people with a mouse like I can with animals XD).
