What's the inspiration for your username? .u.

alright so I actually really like this story, before I had this username I went by "ellellen00" everywhere, less interesting, it's just part of my name combined with some stuff to make it sound cool or whatever, but then one day I got a PM on chicken smoothie. the PM was about my "interests" section on my profile, where I had put a trnding meme that mentions gender and attack helicopters as a joke and the person was very upset. this was not the first time I had accidentally offended someone online but the reasoning this time confused me, they told me that it was sexist and homophobic and that I needed to take it down, they then instantly blocked me, leaving me no way to respond or explain myself. I wasnt really bothered too much but I took down the meme so that it wouldnt happen again and ten I went on with my life. later I told a school friend about the incident and he was MAD, not at me but at the person that complained, at this point his anger got me a bit mad as well and I got to thinking about what really is offensive and how people act about this kind of stuff online, I came to the conclusion that everything is offensive if you think hard enought about it and then I changed mt username, because that's offensive.

basicly, people are very easily offended and Im mad about it. joking about tumblr genders isnt offensive, autism is NOT a gender, Im accepting of trans people and gender fluid people but if you identify as "a gender that feels connected to nature in some way" or "a gender that is only felt during certain circumstances" that's just silly.

That person who treated you like that though, they’re just butthurt and I glad/hope that you didn’t let them affect you too much because people like that shouldn’t hold power over others, (emotionally, mentally, etc.) But yes, I get your point a lot, although sometimes the jokes are funny when someone says an object is their gender, but even that still gets people offended for some reason. But when someone jokes about “aRe yOu ASSumINg thEIR gENDer?”, it’s just not funny, because I get their point about insulting non-cisgender identities, so I definitely agree with you a lot on that. (Also, YES, people need to start RESPECTING those who have Autism, it doesn’t make someone “dumb”, it isn’t “contagious”, etc. I have a little cousin who has that, and a really close friend who has that as well and she’s an absolute sweetheart. People who joke about Autism get a straight out no from me, and don’t understand the concept of jokes at all.)

yeah, the autism stuff is going too far, I have AS running in my family (a form of autism) so my dad and a couple of my cousins are autistic, it's not a gender or desease, it's a syndrome. you do not get it from vaccines, it's not contagious, and it's not that big of a deal, they are people and they deserve respect. ADHD is a syndrome as well and you dont see the same reactions AT ALL with that, granted they are very different but I have never heard of someone not vaccinating their children because 'they might get ADHD'.
