neru's quirk is that he can psionically project a (person-shaped) bolt of energy directly in front of himself, which he can use as a ghostly imitation of himself and just hold it before him or he can fire it, hitting with an approximate equivalent of one-hundred eight times his own mass x the speed of the bolt. the bolt's speed gradually increases with distance (as long as it is actively being "pushed"), and thus increasing its impact force. (oddly enough, the amount of energy required to project the bolt is approximately half of what would be required to stop it.) the bolt's range depends on how much energy is invested into projecting it and could theoretically go on forever (until it impacts an object). the bolt's interaction with the air during travel tends to produce sounds oddly similar to a train horn.
the projected bolt is subject to inertia. the faster the bolt is travelling, the harder it is to stop it. conversely, it takes more energy to project the bolt further and faster. the sound produced by the bolt traveling through the air severely hampers any attempt at stealthy/surprise attacks. furthermore, the "mass" of the bolt, along with the need for distance (so the bolt can gain speed and momentum as it travels to the target), severely limits its effective use in situations that would require precision or use in close quarters. finally, the use of this ability is found to be quite energy intensive. the amount of bolts one can project before requiring substantial rest and nourishment varies, usually depending on the "range" of the bolts projected. (this limitation can be somewhat mitigated through heavy stamina training.)

anyway he has an electromagnetism quirk!! weeOo
this quirk makes raiden's body an electromagnet, and allows him to manipulate electromagnetism. with this quirk, he can manipulate both magnetic fields, and electricity, but on going pro he could attain SO much more. with that quirk, he can slightly manipulate the electromagnetic spectrume. meaning, he can manipulate: radio waves, microwaves, terahertz waves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays - although currently he onl has light control of these and gets a heavy nosebleed on using them. this quirk does not allow him to absorb energy and stuff, but it does allow him to manipulate electricity, and all of those forms of radiation.
using gamma rays, he can battle regeneration by affecting their cells, though a drawback to his power is that because he cant absorb energy he cant undo what he does, so he needs to learn to be lighter with himself
his electricity powers are strong, and he can shock things in a 15ft radius, but using them makes him twitchy and prolonged use causes spasms and sharp breathing, like the starts of a heart-attack
although his magnetism can allow him to pull metal things to him in a 15ft radius, he can use his magnetic field on humans too! 8 tesla is enough to make someone feel electricity through their body and see visions in their eyes, which is essentially like using a low dose of his electricity, but at 50 tesla he can make people levitate and float them!! its a really sick power,, he cant get to 100 tesla bc he woudlnt train it that hard i think,, thats where you run the risk of doing permanent damage to people and he hates that he cant reverse his quirk it makes him feel sick
it comes from a quirk marriage of his mothers electrical powers and his fathers magnetism! its super strong!! he can not use it as a physical weapon though, which can provide an issue when it comes to teammates,, if you are too close and he goes all out he will probably get you too.
