- potentially, with practice, he could learn to change the
temperature of the flames to something hotter or slightly
cooler (for show ig) - he is immune to fire as a result of this (obv) but overuse
of the quirk will result in his body temperature rising too
much,, its pretty much a high-fever tho he'll live he just
gets sick - as a kid, it was thought that he could just make pretty
fake flames - oh well, not all of them are winners, yknow?
- this is bc he was a kinda sweet quiet kid and he didnt use
his quirk unless prompted to, really - and he wasnt trying to hurt people with it!! so it would
only ever come out useless! oops - but THEN our dear boy started getting night-terrors
- for the first few months his parents would hear him yelling
and screaming and thrashing and come in to wake him up - his parents taught the other kids how to wake him up if they
needed to and had to leave on Hero Duties one night - but the other kids didnt catch it in time and they couldnt
figure out how to wake him - and yume, in his fear,,,
- he burnt the house down bro it was carnage
- the other kids are smart and have pretty good quirks too
like,, they survived - but they are all permanently scarred AND terrified of fire
- parents made yume get sleep therapy and mom quit her job
as a hero to make sure this DID NOT HAPPEN AGAIN - and yume vowed to never use his quirk
- even tho its super powerful pro-hero material
- so he does general studies and doesnt sleep most nights
- [spoiler,, the plot is that he gets scoped out and forced
onto an actual course bc his quirk is SICK and has to overcome
his fear,, like thats his character arch :9]
im gonna ramble abt their quirks reAL quick,, their parents
are pro-heroes so they made like,, a LITTER of very powerful
kids but they arent very present parents bc of their jobs
which led to some,, accidents

- saisei
- get ready for WAY less info than yume fjgdgk
- saisei's quirk is that he can switch out with anything he can
visually focus on! - like he can tag out for anything as long as he can see it
- the size of the object is irrelevant to this
- he can switch w/ people or anything like,, its easy
- but if he can not clearly see and identify it then it doesnt
work - enhancing his sight is like,, sai's current goal
- his hero costume has zoomy googles to help
- one of his favourite tricks is to get someone to target him
with a projectile and then switch with them just before it can
land - "stop hitting yourself lol"
- big brother energy
- he can also toss small objects (like a bag of marbles) and
switch between them and attack between switches - this will absolutely make him dizzy tho sjgdfkf
- in relation to the Accident,, he slept in the bed next to yume
and he only woke up when he started getting blasted - the entire left side of his body is all gummed up
- sai is like a pretty chill dude but he can not sleep in a room
with another person anymore - and he is an incredibly anxious sleeper,,
- korosu
- his name means murder but hes pretty chill
- he has a mind-reader quirk!
- this makes him kinda difficult to beat because he knows what
youre thinking bro,, - to get specific he can more,, get into people's brains??
- like he cant mind-control but he can whisper thoughts into
your subconscious to influence you slightly - this obviously doesnt work on more stubborn people
- he has to have eye contact AND recognition from the other
person to get in, and this lasts until he moves on to something
else - so the other person cant be zoned out in his direction
- they have to gaze into his puppy-dog eyes
- obv a very handy villain quirk but!! he doesnt want that!!!
- instead he uses it ON villains
- in the fire sitch he has the least scarring of any of them
because his only /move/ was grabbing yume's hands right
at the end to keep them still while itami and sai tried to
wake him up - so his hands are,,, pretty much numb oops
