My wonderful parents have made the amazing decision of moving right? So I can't say age but basically. I'm like in the next 0-4 years gonna be out of high school. So like I'm like why don't you wait? Like bruh you've waited this long to actually move (like 4 years) wait some a couple years and then you don't have to put up with my twiggy butt. Anyways so they decide to finally move. They were gonna stay in Cali right where we are rn but then they're like HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM WHY NOT MOVE TO NORTH CAROLINA?!?!?!?!?!? Like litterally 2600+ miles away from Cali. OPPOSITE COAST. LIKE BRUH WHY OH MY GOD WHY.

My family as some of you know (those who've read this far might know) I have or HAD two lovely cats. Ollie and Chloe. So since my parents decided to move, and my dads allergies are getting bad to them again. We might have to rent to we had to give them away. That was the most difficult thing I've had to do. We took them to the shelter we got them from, they asked when we gave them the two of them if we wanted to see them into their cage at the shelter. They were going to split them up if we hadn't went back with them into the cage room. Anyway we let them into one cage thing and they both curled up into a ball scared as heck under the cat bed. Walking away from them was so damn hard oh god. When we walked out of the shelter with the empty cage there were people outside and they were staring at me and my mother (both of us balling) There was this one guy I made eye contact with who didn't give me a weird look he gave me a sympathetic look like oml I'm sorry or like damn ;-; Wasn't fun.

I'm moving across the country right? So there high school grad requirments are different than my Cali districts/schools right soooo I have to take 4 years of history. At my school they have it set up so that its 3 years so i'm like -.- BOIIIII WHAYTATATATTTAAAAAa
So thats gonna be fun low-key high key stressed about that

Oh and I know ZERO people on NC so like I'm gonna have fun for 3 months of summer with no friends : D HAHHAAHAHAH you thought you had no friends XDXDXD Boi please! Try me mate!! XXDXDXD I really don't care too much I'm a social butterfly so I should be fine.

Oh so my BF of over a year is here in CALI. So like that's gonna be fun. : D We're gonna do long distance and when I can finally be a legal adult I'm moving my butt outta NC.

I've been in Cali for over half my life so like AKAKAAKKAK why. I like it here. wHy BrUh nOoOoOOOoOOOOOooOoOO

OML AND THE SCHOOLS DRESS CODE IS SOOOOO STRICT OML LIKE NOOOOOOOOOOO you can't show any chest at all like they get triggered and you cant show like anything above the knee I'm like bruh they don't sell female shorts that long. AND IM LIKE REALLY TALL SO FINDING DRESS CODE STUFF NOW IS HARD AS HECK AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

It's just life, very stressful/anxiety driving but it's life I can't do anything yet and I don't have a say in the matter. Wish I was able to this kind of thing throws off your whole life/way of doing things especially when you have plans for the future :<

Hopefully you can go to college back there! I totally understand the stresses of not being in charge of your whole life, and am currently in a similar situation. But I have confidence that you'll find your way. Best of luck! >.<

It's not so bad here..
Just go to Carowinds at the border of NC and SC and live there all summer until you die lol

Depending on what year of school you're in, I would just join a class where it's easier to make friends like art, and I would normally suggest Orchestra for middle schoolers because you sit next to random children, but just do your best?

I moved to boring state from Hillbilly land SC and since everybody else was so "upper class" here and I spent 5-ish years with kids who literally jumped into plastic tubs from trampolines (I'm NOT kidding my friends ACTUALLY did this) fitting in was.. hard.

It honestly depends on where you're moving to. If it's to the golfing areas in the middle of the state with rich people, try to make friends with the nerd kids once you're back in school if you haven't already graduated.

If it's to the rural part, I can't help you. I don't live there and never had. So..

In the cities, I would expect it to be about the same as the golfing communities. Just don't talk to the "popular kids". They tend to be rich kids and they're ALWAYS jerks. I haven't met a rich, popular kid who wasn't a jerk.

NC pro tip: Keep clear nail polish on hand and in stock. When you get chiggers, it's the only thing that kills them.
Born and raised here in a middle of no where VERY rural area (30-45 mins to the nearest town , 4+ hours to nearest city)- those little monsters explode in population during the summer time.

NC ain't that bad though. Or at least where I'm at. Summer will make you melt but Fall turns out so nice. I love cold weather so winter doesn't bother me much. You said you're not going to a rural area so already you won't have issues with internet just to name things off the top of my head.
