really messy scribbly thing based on a ha buddy i made on goatlings:
i dont have a name yet but uhhhhhhhh she's a goddess???? idk of what but like, she's super difficult to catch (kind of like an eclipse) and it's rlly hard to get on her good side/earn her blessing or good fortune or w/e if you Do happen to meet her
and then one day this like
bard?? messenger?? i havent figured it out quite yet
but like, this psuedo-angel/bird girl ?? who pretty much is a glorified postman/storyteller
meets her and like immediately recognizes her
and she's not quite sure what to do but they like
get to talking and angel/bird girl is like
"oh no she's really pretty..... oh no she's really nice too...... "
so like
angel/bird girl starts purposefully trying to seek this goddess out, even though it's really difficult to find her
and one day she actually finds her again, and she figures out that the goddess has been purposefully avoiding her this whole time bc like
she actually finds the angel/bird girl's efforts really endearing and cant find a reason to really hide from her or hate her or anything for any reason other than keeping up appearances
so she decides to stay with angel/bird girl for awhile, but only on the condition that she wont stay. she wont say when, but she will eventually leave, because she does have her "godly" things to do
and like, it sucks, but angel/bird girl reassures the goddess that she can deal with that, and so for awhile, everything is really nice, almost like a dream
and then it gets to the time where the goddess leaves
and of course angel/bird girl is really sad, and it's kind of ? like catching an eclipse in that she struggles to find her again after that, and it takes her awhile to come to terms she probably wont see her again
but what she doesnt know is that the goddess basically just said heck the rules and sacrificed her human form and all her duties and such to live on as an immortal lioness and watch over her until angel/bird girl is gone
