bayflight has always been a field medic, however he hasn't always been blind. as many don't know this about him he continues his work as a medic with the help of his close assistant, a short mech who has stayed by his friends side to help him with his disability.

bayflight lost his sight during the war while it was still on cybertron. during a larger battle, in now whats called the badlands of cybertron. they had to take cover, this resulted in three bots getting separated, bayflight, his assistant and a young femme who was with the two. while attempting to return to iacon they were ambushed and unfortunately the femme did not make it. while trying to save her bayflight was caught in the line of fire and wounded, which caused him to loose his sight.
