I can't seem to figure out how to make a clear background. It would be an amazing help if someone could assist me (also facial expression practice ^)

While drawing, remove the first white layer so it looks like a bunch of checkered boxes,
post your drawing, then copy the image link. Paste the image link, and in it you will see
the word "auto", replace this with "png" and the background will be transparent!

for example, this image
the image address looks like this:

instead of this,
size=large&format=auto

do this:
size=large&format=png

and then your drawing is transparent!
