this is a huge wip, which i wanna give it a space theme. this is going to be for my mother who is currently battling cancer. as she doesn't see me as the greatest daughter, this is what I'm going to try. not to win her over but share a little positive feeling as her sadness is a bit straining. her cancer is in stage 4 and it's quite hard on me but i'm trying to stay strong for her and lead her on. she isn't the biggest fan of me pursuing art so maybe this can lead her on into art isn't that bad. to the strain of 5 months going on hospital and depressing family strain this is a new year and I hope to pull through it. and we see her chemotherapy results soon. if i have any commissions it may be put off to work on this but it's personal. a ton has been going on in life and the best i can do is keep a nice smile and hope she picks up on it. any who, good day to everyone and I will keep this post updated.

Wow this is really pretty so far and the meaning behind it is touching, art when it's used to convey such feelings is beautiful and I wish the best of luck to you and your family <3

from someone who couldn't draw humans to the bare a year or so ago I'm happy with the progress. I'm glad the story can get across in positive aspects like art. thank you so much!

I've worked on shading, a background, and have an ideal of the color scheme and design I'm going for in this post.

I may also add a turban as that's what my mother wears as it makes her more comfortable then her wigs.
