I don't really think this is intermediate, but I could share a few things to better yourself. ^^
I think it might look better if, rather than using the same color as the lines, shade to show the wrinkles in the clothes/muscles. The neck seems a tad to thick to me, and right side of the head too flat. The cheeks and forhead would be what sticks out, rather than having a flat side. And see the top on the right where the hair connects to the forehead? It shouldn't buldge out like that. You should have the top of the head overall more circular. The mouth is a tad to far off to the side, and should be more centered, even if a smirk like that. The ear and the side of the face shouldn't be seperated by an entire line. Instead you could simply put a partial line, but keep it so it looks connected. Also, the hand, whatever it is holding onto, you should make it so it appears to be bending at the knuckles, rather than the wrists. People usually grip onto things with their fingers, rather than the wrists like that.
But other than that, I really like the way you did your shading. And just a tip, it is easier to color inside of your lines if you draw them thicker. That's what I do. It just looks alot tidier when you color inside your lines. :3 I hope that helped without seeming to rude. ^^
