haha, thats pretty convenient timing then, huh? :p
i think almost every computer user has reacted like eagleeye at some point in their lives
on my old computer system (before it just completely died and wouldnt even boot), i had a trojan dropper that avg kept detecting, but, unless the dropper kept dropping other droppers which dropped MORE droppers, it never actually got rid of it when it said it did
...and then later it finally found other nasty things which couldve been there ages, so good job avg :B

maybe ill have to make a "random pseudo-skype setup malware encounter" at some point. ive had a few of those on my computer recently, with dates ranging from about february (and somehow not being detected so again good job avg) to may. not entirely sure where they came from, or if theyre all gone, but they dont seem to have caused much damage, if any at all :y

viruses are the worst
my old computer somehow got a trojan virus and then later a rootkit that we couldn't get rid of so i had to get a new computer completely
i still don't trust any pop up windows, ads, or even any downloads that aren't steam related

but this is hilarious X3
especially the parts about buying free stuff and very useful pointless junk X3

@corrosive
ah, yeah, pretty sure rootkits are notorious for being difficult to get rid of, or even to detect in the first place
also, if the trojan was a backdoor, it couldve been related to the rootkit somehow? dont take my word for it though, i need to re-read some wikipedia pages. remembering all of this stuff is hard :B i just remember thinking that trojan backdoors and rootkits sounded pretty similar
as for not trusting pop ups/ads/downloads, dont worry, i dont either :d

haha, thank you!!
gotta love that useful pointless junk

@oatmeal
same tbh

I think I got a virus from Steam once.
It was horrible.

I was pretty much like Eagle-Eye when that happened.
i swear the only reason i'm still on is because of one friend
everyone else has left
go hug her not me
