so why not have some pride
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You know, it took an awfully long time, feeling lonely, feeling cold hearted.
As is, sadly, the story for most aces. Digging up your sexuality after searching in some, small corner.
Even when I did find this label, coming out is quite the task, battling through obscene comments about relief or asexual reproduction.
The biggest thing is this expectation that I need to dress in a manner that reflects my sexuality. "Don't wear a dress, don't wear a blazer, you don't want to be a tease," "That shirt looks good on you, you shouldn't wear it if you don't want attention."
Nah. You know what? I'm going to wear whatever I want. The ace deserves to feel nice looking for once.
They always say "love is love", but what it feels like is "sex is sex".
You're no robot. Sexual attraction isn't some sort of holy grail to behold and you are not missing out in your asexuality.
There's more to it than that.
