I think that you should finish it, even without the ref. You have enough of a base here to finish it off. An artist's interpretation doesn't have to exactly accurate. ;D That's what photography is for. I say add some texture, paint it up, add high lights, whatever you want.

Whatever you choose to do, this is lovely. :3
