Ahhh, Gein I'm so glad you've been getting some art out lately ;v;
I am truly in love with your style and I really, really love seeing new pieces from you -- they always make me smile and brighten my day a bit
This piece is lovely -- I love the meaning it carries, the style you've used within the art, and the image itself to portray.. just emotion in my eyes, as I don't know if there is a story behind it (though somehow, just by looking at it, a story of some sort unfolds in my mind). It's really breath-taking ^^

I am so unbelievably flattered right now you don't even know.
My biggest goal with my art is to be able to create characters, stories, visuals that people can connect with.
Things that inspire other people, things that evoke emotion- hopefully good.
And to somehow bring some joy into people's lives with my art.

It's a lot to ask. It really is.
And knowing I was able to do that, even for one person.
Even if it's just you. Well... I'm so inexplicably happy and glad that I could brighten your day with something I created.
I'm so glad I could do that.

As for the art itself. I didn't have a story in mind.
I did, however, have an emotion. All of which could be found in but a simple gesture such as a hug.
The story and characters fell into place along with it without having the need to explain them.
And for an illustration, that's the best kind of story. ;u;
