Life force Theory
(notice, all this is a theory and has no real evidence supporting it. I made it all up)
If you know me and you have role played with me, you probably have heard me mention life force when role playing with my genie characters. But I have never really explained what life force is. So here it is. What is life force?
Short answer:
Life force is an energy that attaches our soul to our body.
Long answer:
Many people believe that we are made out of two components, the soul and body, but I believe that we are made out of three components. The soul, body and life force. Now what exactly is life force? Well, like I said earlier, it is an energy that attaches our soul to our body. Envision a balloon tied to a rock. a balloon, without anything tying it down, would float away until it ran out of air. In a way, that's how imagines the soul. The soul does not want to be on this ruined and sinful world, so, with out something tying it down, it would go where it pleases, preferably to Heaven. But there is something stronger than the soul, life force. Life force is like the string that ties the balloon to the rock, and the rock is like our bodies. Life force can be used in thousands of ways, and the ability to harness it would make someone almost all powerful. But, in our bodies, life force is used to heal us. That's right, when ever you get sick or hurt, a little supply of the life force tying your soul down is used up. That's why right after, and during, sickness, you feel weak. Our body does not allow us to use life force for anything else because it fears that it may not have enough to make someone recover when we get injured. When we use life force, our body, after time, creates more life force to replace it. But if our body is not able to replenish life force as fast as we use it, that's when and injury or illness becomes fatal.
