I was bored so I jotted down some items to make a species ;3
They were bookbags. They have a robot mouth, A pig snout. X_X eyes.
And webbed feet. They have large flappy arms.
When the explode (pass away) steam will start to come out their mouth.
If its a rare thingy then when its born steam naturally comes out its mouth
