I like planes! <3
I also really like snails. Nobody else my age cares about such things, but I love the little creatures. People don't understand why I do. I care deeply for the animals that people commonly overlook, like insects and such. But I won't change the fact that I like what I do,even if nobody else understands. Keep liking planes! It's fine to like something that others don't understand! It makes you different from everybody else, and you should be proud of that, because so many people nowadays just follow the crowd. Your interests are yours.

Why the heck does it matter? I'm assuming you are a younger girl heading for your teens and looking for some friends. I get it. None of my friends really understand what I'm talking about half of the time. Or they just think it's weird. But I still love them.

I play video games. I like cars. Sci-Fi is my favorite genre. I love animals. Not all people are going to be a mirror image of you. You don't need your friends to like everything you like. For example, my friends who are girls don't like any of those things. We normally discuss something different like how they're doing, books, and girly stuff. But I also have friends who are guys, and they would like to ditch some of those things. I can talk to them about video games, weapons, and cars. I have a great time with all of them and love them all dearly despite the fact they are different from me.

Treasure your personality and keep it. You are you and no one else. You are special and beautifully made. But make sure you are loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Maybe you hate MLP with a passion, but your friend enjoys it. Talk to her about it. It brings her joy. Sometimes you have to make those sacrifices. For ANY kind of relationship (Parents, siblings, friends) to last you must do so.

And no, you are wrong. People do care. :)

Its good to be different! Don't let people change what you love. When people laughed at me for loving horses, I laughed with them. Their opinion's don't matter, yours do ^^
