A little bit of art for Elmo, my cat who had the same symptoms that his brother, George, had before George died 2 days ago.

He got taken to the vets, after successfully finding someone to take us, but just as they were leaving (I wasnt allowed to go since I had school in the morning) he started fitting, just like George did. At about 1am GMT, I was still awake because I couldn't fall asleep, and my sister got a call off my mum, saying that Elmo was going to be put down... it would've cost around £400 just to get blood tests to find out if it could spread to any other cats, whether it really was the building site that caused it or not, and putting him down cost £100 alone!

His body's in our shed now, waiting to be buried next to George. Its so cold and lifeless. It feels horrible him not purring as loudly as he did..

He was special, he was the only one of our 4 cats that purred as loudly as he did, I could easily tell his meow apart from the other cats; it was very loud, and sounded a bit like 'mweow', he was constantly purring and kissing both me and my mum.... none of our other cats did that... my windowsill is so empty without him.. it was his favorite spot to sunbathe.

Elmo sounds like he was a great cat. And he will never be lonely, and neither will you. Elmo is always with you, in your heart, and he will be watching you along with his brother.
