This started out as a sketch only..
And I promised myself I would only spend a tiny amount of time with it.
Then it turned into some lines, and I thought, "Why not just add a bit of color? Heck, why not!"
And then I was all malcontent and added some shading,
But then it turned into this big piece of art.
How do I get myself into these things? xD
Anyway, a big welcome to the newest addition to my (fictional) stables! This chestnut Mustang mare is going to be my part in the Mustang Makeover going on (here on CS). c: This summer I'm to keep an almost daily journal of how I work, tame, and train her. She's going from 7 years of being a wild Mustang, to a tame and trained horse suitable for humans to love and care for. I'm excited to get working with her, but first I have to earn her trust...
In this piece, I am pictured trying to gently and calmly coax her out of the trailer, and into a small fenced-in area. She's very hesitant, but is 'feeding' off of my calmness, so to speak. She may be easier than I thought..
I'll start actually writing the daily journal either tomorrow or the next day, as my RL schedule may be busy.
On a slightly different subject, she still needs a name! I'm specifically looking for bird-related names, or even some Spanish names. Any ideas, people of CS? :D
I have named her "Finch" <3
